C&P Market on Manchester Street is a well-known restaurant to those around the industrial corridor into Lexington's distillery district and other businesses. The local restaurant has been a staple in the neighborhood for over 40 years.
Due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak and Kentucky's executive orders, C&P Market and Grill had to adjust business operations. The market's restaurant services are now only offering pick up or carry-out. C&P Market also operates as a grocery store, so it remains open to the public.
Arrest Made During COVID-19 Pandemic
Caught Before Entry
On April 3, 2020 at 11:00PM, C & P Market had an unexpected guest. Attempting to break-in, the guest activated the verified audio device. Our operators were notified, identified the sound, and called the owner who requested dispatch.
All happening within minutes, the police arrived and arrested the unwanted guest before he could even get in!
